PA PMS vs Cloudbeds: Pricing, Features and Who Each One Fits
If you're comparing PA PMS vs Cloudbeds, you're probably at one of two points: you need more than a spreadsheet to run the front desk, and you want to know what you'll actually pay before you sit through a sales call. This page compares the two on the things that decide it — pricing model, what's included, and the kind of property each one is built for. We make PA PMS, so we've kept this to facts you can check on each vendor's own pages.
Pricing: a quote vs a free plan
Cloudbeds' pricing page lists four plans — Flex, One, Experience and Enterprise — and every one of them leads to "Request a quote". No prices are published, and the page offers demos rather than a free trial. Add-ons such as revenue management, a guest CRM, digital marketing, websites and reputation management are sold separately, also without published prices.
PA PMS works the other way round. The free plan covers reservations (including group bookings), check-in/check-out and no-shows, guest folios and charges, housekeeping status, night audit and reports (revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR), with Booking.com/Expedia bookings brought in by importing their XLS/CSV export. There is no per-room fee and no setup fee. The paid plan adds live two-way channel sync with Booking.com and Expedia; it is set up with each hotel after they request it, so it has no fixed public price either.

Where Cloudbeds is the stronger choice
Cloudbeds is a much bigger platform, and it shows. Payments are part of every plan, and it sells modules for revenue management, a guest CRM, digital marketing, hotel websites and reputation management. If you want one vendor for all of that, it covers far more ground than PA PMS, which deliberately does not include payments processing, a booking engine, a website builder, a POS or a mobile app.
Where PA PMS is the better fit
PA PMS is for hotels and resorts — of any size — whose daily need is the front desk itself: see the calendar, check guests in and out, keep folios right, know which rooms are clean, and close the day with a night audit. If that's you, paying for a platform priced around modules you won't use is the cost you're trying to avoid. With PA PMS you can run all of that for free, and only add live channel sync when manual imports stop being enough. It runs every day at Hidden Lagoon Resort in the Philippines, where it was built.
How to decide
- Choose Cloudbeds if you want one commercial platform with payments and revenue, marketing and website modules, and you're comfortable with a quoted price.
- Choose PA PMS if you want the core PMS without a monthly bill, or you want to stop paying for features you don't use. You can keep your OTA extranets and import their reservation exports, then upgrade to live sync later.

Try PA PMS before you book a demo anywhere
The free plan is the full daily product, not a trial: reservations, check-in/out, folios, housekeeping, night audit and reports. A real person reviews each new account before activating it.
