Why We Built PA PMS
Most hotel PMS platforms are built by companies selling to hundreds of properties at once, which means the pricing and the product are built around what makes sense for the median customer in a very large portfolio. If you're not that median customer — if you're a guesthouse, a small resort, or an independent hotel that just wants to run reservations, check-ins, and housekeeping without a per-room fee and a monthly minimum — you end up paying for a lot of capacity you don't use, or fighting software built for a front desk five times the size of yours.
We started with one real property, not a spec sheet
PA PMS runs the day-to-day operations of Hidden Lagoon Resort, a real property in the Philippines — not a demo account. Reservations, check-ins and check-outs, guest folios, housekeeping status, night audits, and reporting are things we built because a real front desk needed them to work correctly, not because they were items on a competitor's feature comparison page. When something didn't work right in practice — a name field that cleared itself on save, a refund that double-negated an amount — it got fixed because it broke someone's actual shift, not because a support ticket eventually made it up a backlog.
What we're not claiming
We're not going to tell you we're "trusted by thousands of hotels worldwide" — we're not, and a lot of PMS marketing pages say things like that without much behind it. What we can say honestly: it's in daily production use, it's actively maintained, and we're building it out property by property rather than trying to be everything for everyone on day one.
The actual product decisions this leads to
- Free plan, real functionality. Reservations, check-in/check-out, guest charges, housekeeping, night audit, reporting — all available for free, with bookings kept in sync by importing your Booking.com/Expedia export (XLS/CSV) rather than requiring a live channel connection from day one.
- Live channel sync when you actually want it, not by default. Real-time two-way sync with Booking.com and Expedia is there for properties that want it, set up directly with us rather than a self-serve toggle that quietly adds a line item.
- No per-room pricing, no setup fee. The pricing structures common in this industry — see our breakdown of what the bigger platforms typically charge — mostly exist to scale revenue with property size, which is exactly the model we're not running.
- Sign up, and a real person reviews it. New accounts are approved manually rather than instantly self-served, which is slower by design — it keeps the system limited to real properties instead of open to anyone with an email address.
Who this is actually for
Not exclusively small resorts — that's a common misconception about "budget" software. It's for any hotel or resort, of whatever size, that doesn't want to pay premium PMS prices for day-to-day operations it could be running for free, and that wants channel sync as an option it chooses rather than a bundle it's charged for regardless of use.
See it running
The free plan is the whole product, not a limited trial of it — reservations, check-in/out, guest charges, housekeeping, night audit, and reporting, no time limit and no credit card.
